ENROLLMENT
The Doctoral School of Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce announces that the recruitment process for the academic year 2026/2027 will commence on 1 September 2026.
We invite ambitious and committed candidates interested in academic development and conducting research with the support of highly qualified academic staff and modern research infrastructure. The recruitment process will be carried out in accordance with applicable legal regulations and university rules, ensuring transparency and equal opportunities for all applicants.

For the academic year 2026/2027, a total of 34 places are available, with 2 places allocated to each discipline, jointly for Polish citizens and international applicants.

Legal Basis of Recruitment
The recruitment procedure is governed by the following legal acts:
- Resolution No. 10/2026 of the Senate of Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce of 26 February 2026 concerning the admission rules for candidates to the Doctoral School for the academic year 2026/2027.
- Ordinance No. 2/2026 of the Director of the Doctoral School of 21 April 2026 concerning admission limits for candidates to the Doctoral School for the academic year 2026/2027.
- Ordinance No. …/2026 of the Rector of Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce concerning the appointment of Admission Committees for the recruitment process to the Doctoral School for the academic year 2026/2027.
2. Research Areas and Academic Supervisor
One of the elements of the recruitment process is indicating a prospective academic supervisor during online registration.
Applicants who have not yet established cooperation with a specific supervisor are requested to contact persons indicated in the documents prepared for each discipline. After obtaining the supervisor’s consent, an appropriate declaration form must be uploaded to the recruitment system.

For this purpose, applicants should submit an Application for Accessibility Support – form.
The application may be submitted by e-mail (a scanned copy with a handwritten signature) or by traditional mail at least 14 days before the planned qualification interview.
Submitting the application does not affect the deadlines specified in the recruitment schedule.
