Commission conducting the evaluation

Based on § 7, paragraphs 2-7 of the Doctoral School Regulations:

§ 7

2. The evaluation mentioned in paragraph 1 is conducted by a commission approved by the School Council upon the director’s request.

3. The supervisor(s) and auxiliary supervisor cannot be members of the commission conducting the midterm evaluation of the doctoral student under their scientific supervision.

4. The commission consists of three individuals:

  1. An individual holding a post-doctoral degree or the title of professor in the discipline in which the doctoral student is preparing their doctoral dissertation, employed at the University, as the chairperson.
  2. An individual holding a post-doctoral degree or the title of professor in the discipline in which the doctoral student is preparing their doctoral dissertation, employed at the University.
  3. An individual holding a post-doctoral degree or the title of professor in the discipline in which the doctoral student is preparing their doctoral dissertation, employed outside the University.

5. A doctoral student delegated by the University Doctoral Student Council may participate in the commission’s work as an observer, without voting rights.

6. In the case of evaluating the implementation of an interdisciplinary research plan, the commission consists of:

  1. An individual holding a post-doctoral degree or the title of professor in the field encompassing the discipline in which the doctoral student is preparing their doctoral dissertation, employed at the University, as the chairperson.
  2. An individual holding a post-doctoral degree or the title of professor in one of the disciplines within which the doctoral student is preparing their doctoral dissertation, employed at the University.
  3. An individual holding a post-doctoral degree or the title of professor in one of the disciplines within which the doctoral student is preparing their doctoral dissertation, employed outside the University.

7. A commission member employed outside the University is entitled to remuneration as specified by law.
