Double Doctoral Diploma of our PhD Student

We would like to congratulate our PhD student, Ms Kristine Petrosyan, who defended her PhD thesis in the discipline of Biology on 27 November 2023.
The dissertation was prepared within the framework of the ‘Partnership Agreement governing the joint supervision and awarding of a doctorate diploma between Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce and Hasselt University’ under the supervision of Professors Wiesław Kaca and Jaco Vangronsveld.
The experiments were carried out at the Centre for Environmental Science (CMK) at Hasselt University under the guidance of Dr Sofie Thijs as co-promoter and at the Department of Microbiology of the Institute of Biology at JKU.
