Doctoral Scholarships

 

Doctoral School

Every person admitted to the doctoral school (excluding individuals with a doctoral degree) receives a doctoral scholarship.

The maximum duration of receiving the scholarship is 4 years.

These scholarships are tax-exempt but are subject to retirement and pension contributions.

 

Scholarship amounts:

  • At the beginning of the education – 37% of a professor’s salary.
  • After the mid-term evaluation – 57% of a professor’s salary.

A disabled doctoral student may receive a doctoral scholarship increased by 30% of the basic amount (prior to evaluation).

 

The granting of scholarships to doctoral students enrolled in the Doctoral School is regulated by Rector’s Order No. 124/2019 of Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce.
