The first doctoral defense in the Humanities Section of the Doctoral School at the JKU

We are pleased to inform you that our Ph.D. student, Mr. Piotr Kądziela, successfully defended his doctoral dissertation on October 26, 2023, in the field of history, with the topic: “Professors of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Stefan Batory in Vilnius from 1919 to 1939,” written under the supervision of Prof. Marek Przeniosło (JKU Institute of History).

The dissertation was reviewed by Prof. Łukasz Tomasz Sroka (University of the Commission of National Education in Krakow), Prof. Tomasz Pudłocki (Jagiellonian University), and Rev. Prof. Sławomir Zych (Catholic University of Lublin).
