PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT FOR DOCTORAL STUDENTS
at the Center for Support of Persons with Disabilities
We would like to inform you that doctoral students at Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce can access psychological support free of charge as part of the services provided by the Center for Support of Persons with Disabilities.

CENTER FOR SUPPORT OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES
Doctoral students who register at the Center for Support may apply for:
- an extension of the duration of a given exam;
- permission to use technical devices during exams, such as computers, screen-reading software, Braille devices, alternative keyboards, magnifying lenses;
- use of an alternative form of recording during the exam;
- conversion of the exam format from written to oral or from oral to written;
- participation of third parties in the exam, in particular a sign language interpreter, stenographer, or lector;
- change of the exam location;
- information about technological solutions aimed at equalizing opportunities (e.g., adaptation of teaching materials according to the doctoral student’s needs – enlarged print, electronic format, loan of a laptop, electronic magnifier, voice recorder);
- permission to use additional technical devices enabling full participation in classes and the use of audiovisual equipment to record classes;
- use of specialized transport for persons with disabilities on campus (in specific cases).
At the Center for Support, in conditions ensuring confidentiality, it is possible to discuss how a health condition may affect the study process and to determine the scope of possible accommodations during studies.
