NEW RULES FOR TEACHING PRACTICE – FROM 1 OCTOBER 2026

Documents concerning teaching practice completed by 30 September 2026
must be submitted in accordance with the existing rules and using the existing forms.

APPLICABLE RULES AND DOCUMENTS

§ 2

  • The education programme, in point 3.1.3, provides for the completion of teaching practice from the first to the third year of education in the form of conducting or participating in conducting classes, for a total of 35 hours.
  • Doctoral students of the UJK Doctoral School may be assigned to conduct classes in higher education programmes or participate in conducting the following types of classes: practical classes, field classes, workshops, laboratory classes, conversation classes, foreign language classes, lectures and diploma seminars.
  • Lectures and diploma seminars may be conducted by doctoral students of the UJK Doctoral School only in the form of participation in conducting such classes.
  • Teaching activities carried out as part of the teaching practice for individual doctoral students of the UJK Doctoral School in a given academic year are planned by the Heads of the respective Sections of the Doctoral School in consultation with the supervisor and the Director or Deputy Director of the Doctoral School.

§ 3

  • The annual number of teaching practice hours is:
    1. ) 15 teaching hours – in the first year of education at the UJK Doctoral School,
    2. ) 10 teaching hours in each of the second and third years of education at the UJK Doctoral School.
  • A minimum of 15 hours of teaching practice must be completed by independently conducting classes.
  • Doctoral students of the UJK Doctoral School do not receive remuneration for classes conducted as part of their teaching practice.
  • The template of the Doctoral Student Teaching Practice Record constitutes Appendix No. 1 to the Order.
