European Doctoral Day

We warmly invite you to take part in the European Doctoral Day celebrations.

This pan-European event provides an opportunity to present the achievements of researchers and to engage in discussions on the future of doctoral education in Europe.

As part of the celebrations at our University, the following activities are planned:

• • Presentations of selected research projects – an overview of the most interesting projects carried out by UJK doctoral students, with particular emphasis on the outcomes of collaboration with experienced researchers, external partners, and international institutions.
  • Meeting with alumni – a panel discussion with graduates of the Doctoral School and former doctoral programmes, who will share their experiences related to building a career path after completing their PhD, as well as practical advice on career development.
  • Round table – Enhancing cooperation – an open discussion focused on the doctoral student–supervisor relationship and on optimizing the support provided by the Doctoral School, aimed at developing even higher standards of academic supervision.

The event at UJK aims not only to promote science, but above all to build a strong and integrated academic community, ready to meet the challenges of contemporary Europe.
